Organisers of a Christian festival are promising it will be an event to remember.
The three-day Henley Christian Celebration 2000 will be staged in the Stewards' Enclosure of the Regatta site from July 20-23.
Festivities will begin on July 20 with a production of 'Jewel of the River', a specially-written musical pageant performed by hundreds of schoolchildren.
Other events will include music, drama and performances by Noel Richards, the London Community Gospel Choir amd Simeon Wood.
Street entertainers, barn dances, displays, a craft fair and youth programmes are also on the menu. There will also be a chance for reflection to discover the meaning of life from a Christian perspective at the festival, which is sponsored by Churches Together in Henley. Prices start at 6.
