Challow & Childrey, ending a run of four successive defeats, were unlucky to have lost 12 overs to the weather as they fell five runs short of victory at Sandford St Martin. Brothers Will (5-35) and Dave Moore (3-44) combined to dismiss Sandford for 125 in the 48th over. Challow were well up with the rate before rain reduced their innings to just 40 overs in which they reached 121-8, with Steve Burry scoring 30. Steve Wood took 3-14.
