Democrats have taken an early lead in Group B of the Oxford Summer League, after a fine win at Newcomers Bullnose Morris in which they went behind.
The home side took the opening game, but Demos showed their experience to go 3-1 ahead at the end of the singles. Demos went on to take both pairs to give themselves a 5-1 victory.
Allsworth (3,410) and Lowe (7,140) put Masons 2-0 up at Blackboy, only for Pringle (5,410) and Pincombe (5,730) to bring it back to 2-2. Masons went 3-2 ahead but Blackboy fought back to force a draw.
