The Phoenix, Oxford, is screening a season of Yiddish films, but, unfortunately, no preview tapes were available, writes David Parkinson.
However, this continues the cinema's recent bold programming policy, which is only to be commended. There is also an opportunity to catch Man on the Moon, Milos Forman's biopic of eccentric American comedian Andy Kaufman, starring Jim Carrey.
