Oxford United manager Denis Smith expects to give both Lee Jarman and Chris Porter a run-out in the team's opening pre-season friendly at Havant & Waterlooville tomorrow.
And for former Wales Under 21 captain Jarman, it could be an important test.
The former Cardiff City defender has been lined up as a possible replacement for Mark Watson should the Canadian, who has yet to sign for any club, decide against re-joining United.
