Ian Johnson was unluckily run out for 99 as Banbury 2nd beat Bicester and North Oxford 2nd by four wickets. Put in to bat, Bicester made 174-6 largely thanks to 67 from Naeem Shafi and an unbeaten 35 by Andrew Wingfield Digby. Andy Smith took 4-43. Johnson and Martin Thomas (49) would probably have seen Banbury home on their own with their century stand, but for a mix-up which led to Johnson's dismissal. However, they still reached 178-6 in comfort.
