Witney Tn 2, Swindon Tn 5
An excellent pre-season crowd of 376 witnessed a pulsating match at a sun-drenched Marriotts Stadium last night as a Swindon Town XI, made up of a mixture of first team, reserves and triallists, put Witney to the sword, writes Kieren Bushnell.
Swindon raced into a 3-0 lead. Rorije fired them ahead with a 25-yard drive and Andreas doubled the advantage when shooting past Tom King. Andreas made it three after combining well with Diallo.
Witney hit back with Jason Caffel chipping giant keeper Steve Mildenhall from 20 yards and Jamie Waters cutting in to fire home from an acute angle. But Rorije struck again on 58 and 70 minutes to complete his hat-trick.
