Dinton's decision to bat first at Kimble backfired as they were restricted to 127-8 from their 50 overs, with only a late flurry from Adrian Manger (31 not out) taking them even that far. Saleem Fazal (5-47) again worked his magic.
Glyn Lumb then struck 51 as Kimble' strolled to 129-2.
