Kingston Bagpuize paid the price for dropping Ian Caunce as they lost by eight wickets to Oxford Downs.
Caunce took full retribution in making an otherwise chanceless unbeaten 109, which took them to 190-2.
Earlier, Kingston Bagpuize had made to 189-5 with Dominic Pike scoring 57, with Steve Roberts taking 4-56.
