HARWELL Primary Schools have been crowned the first Oxfordshire champions in the ESFA Capri-Sun Under 11 six-a-side competition.
They captured the title which is played for by small schools with less than 100 children by remaining unbeaten in the county final at Dunmore Junior School, Abingdon.
Harwell won three of their five games and drew the other two to finish ahead of Chilton.
Now Harwell go on to represent Oxon in the South West final after Christmas on a date and at a venue to be arranged.
Final standings: 1 Harwell 11pts; 2 Chilton 9; 3 Great Rollright 8; 4 Tackley 8; 5 South Moreton 3; Blewbury 1.
