Villagers have just a few days left to put their favourite local shop in line for an award.
The closing date for nominations is Monday.
The top ten most popular local shops will be visited by a mystery buyer to see if they live up to their reputations.
The initiative, organised by the Oxfordshire Village Shops Association, recognises good service to the community by rural retailers. Winners will get a magnum of champagne.
Nominations, which must include the store's name and address and reasons why they ought to win must go to Helen Datson at 1 Church Lane, Spelsbury, Chipping Norton OX7 3JR.
