After Gloucester equalised on 35 minutes, East missed a glorious opportunity to put the home side back in front.
The visitors made it 2-1 after 55 minutes, and despite a great spell of pressure that saw East hit the bar and Tutton go close, United scored a late goal to give them a rather flattering scoreline.
