Two players ended up in hospital after Oxford Harlequins' 51-0 victory over Uxbridge in friendly at Horspath Road.

An Uxbridge player had to be taken by ambulance after suffering a neck injury in the last minute, while Quins scrum half Alex Tang departed to have stitches inserted into a deep gash above his right eye.

Quins' tries came from right wing Neil Walker (2), centre Jamie Cope (2), No 8 Rob James (2), replacement wing Steve Chadbone, left winger Matt Hardy and fly half Gareth D Jones. Jones (2) and Paul Browne added the conversions.

Banbury, with several Bulls players in the team, proved too fit for Daventry and sped away to a 64-22 victory.

After trailing 12-7, Banbury stormed clear thanks to tries from Mark Herlily (2), Rob Hall (2), Rob Cockerton (2), Chris Fellows, Lee Davies, Alister Burbidge and Michael Thomas. Cockerton added six cinversions and Paul Jackson one.

Witney, who led 19-0 early on, had to withstand a Cheltenham Civil Service revival before securing a 41-31 victory in a friendly at Hailey Road.

The home side's try-scorers were Wayne Caffekey (2), Poi Gidlow, Paul Thomas, Nathan Phillips and Dan Hills, while Thomas added four conversions and a penalty.
