Villagers help lift the glass-fibre boot on to a low-loader lorry
Villagers turned out to help lift the glass-fibre boot on to a low-loader lorry for the short journey. Morrells, which owns the Three Horse Shoes, is re-developing the play area at the pub and has given the boot back to the Plough.
The Plough's landlord, Howard Kensley, said: "We are being given the boot, so to speak, but are delighted it has returned home."
