Students studying public services donned helmets and waterproofs to find out what it is like to be a firefighter.
Eleven sixth-formers spent a day at Didcot Fire Station where they gained hands-on experience with a crew from Red Watch.
The students witnessed a chip pan fire demonstration and spent time in the control room at the station as part of their B Tec Social Studies (Public Services) course. The sixth-formers are on a two-year course at Henley College.
