The funeral has taken place at Ewelme Parish Church of Flt Lt Mark Maguire, the RAF Benson pilot killed during peacekeeping duties in Kosovo.
Flt Lt Maguire, 31, died when the RAF Puma helicopter he was flying crashed in bad weather, in mountains close to the Macedonian border.
Capt Andrew Crous, 28, of the Army Air Corps, was also killed in the April 9 crash. Five crew members survived.
Flt Lt Cameron Maclachlan, who had played the bagpipes at Flt Lt Maguire's wedding eight months ago, piped the procession in and out of the church.
RAF Benson's Station Commander, Grp Capt Mike Lloyd, said: "Our thoughts and prayers go out to Mark's wife, Alison, and the family and friends of both airmen who lost their lives in this tragic incident. Mark was a very popular member of 33 Squadron and will be sadly missed by friends and colleagues at Benson and across the entire Royal Air Force."
An investigation is under way into the cause of the crash, but the Ministry of Defence has ruled out hostile action.
