Planning is still going ahead for Oxfordshire's county show - the Thame Show in September.
Secretary Mike Howes said his committee hoped the current foot and mouth crisis would be well and truly over by then, with animal movements back to normal.
The confirmation came after news that the Buckinghamshire County Show has been called off for the first time in its 134-year history.
