An exercise event is being held to raise funds for charity.

There is no need to be fit to take part in Workout 2001, organised by Oxford North Rotary Club, because there will be something on offer for everyone, including T'ai Chi, yoga, circuits, body pump and Pilates.

Back-to-back sports classes will be held for 12 hours throughout the fun day and people can take part in as many as they want.

A reflexologist will be on site to soothe aching feet and, in the evening, Oxford's Bar Med will host a salsa party.

Celebrity trainer Lincoln Bryden, who appears on Channel Four's Big Breakfast show, will also be on hand to give some tips and take part in the fun fitness day.

Prizes will be awarded to those who raise the most sponsorship and classes will be free for people who raise more than £100. Money for the event will go to the Sobell House Hospice appeal at the Churchill Hospital, Oxford.

Workout 2001 will take place at Aviators Health and Fitness Centre, Oxford Airport, Kidlington, from 10am to 10pm on Saturday, May 12. For an information pack, call 01865 376600.
