It will be an all-Haddenham Oxford and District Handicap Shield final, following victories for both teams in the semi-finals.

Division 3 champions Haddenham B blitzed their way through with a comfortable victory over Bicester A from Division 2.

Haddenham didn't need their 40-point handicap as Mark Penn, Rodney Browne and Simon Witney all remained unbeaten against their higher-ranked opponents.

The other semi-final was an all Division 1 affair between Haddenham A and Vikings B, who had already drawn twice against each other in the league.

True to form, this third encounter was nip and tuck, with Haddenham just edging home.

The final is at the Gladiator club, Oxford, on April 30 (7.15).

*The Development League programme is now complete after a close finish saw the St James duo of Bob Ford and James Dawson take the inaugural title by just three points from Forum I's Edward Halmarack and Jack Boughton.

The first season of this new two-a-side competition has seen more than 20 people registered who would otherwise not have been playing competitive table tennis.
