Banbury took a weakened team to Histon last night and paid the price, with Histon improving their unbeaten run in the Dr Martens Eastern Division to 18 games.
Histon took the lead in the 33rd minute when Adrian Cambridge drove the ball home between Simon Tricker and the near post.
Banbury held out until the 89th minute when a right-wing cross found Laurence Cullum, who headed in.
