The Thames river bridge at Clifton Hampden had to be closed for more than an hour on Friday evening, causing long tailbacks for commuters, after a car crashed into an electricity pole.
The driver was not hurt in the accident, which happened at 5.45pm, but high-voltage cables had to be isolated by Southern Electric.
