Banbury 2nd lost ground at the foot of the table after suffering an eight-wicket defeat against Witney Mills at White Post Road.
Martin Thomas made 68 of Banbury's 197 after they had been put in.
But then Mark Cannons (82), supported by Kevin Smith (56) and Pete Claridge (38), guided Mills to victory.
