Firefighters are appealing for volunteers to race wheelie bins the length of Sheep Street, Bicester, as part of this year's carnival celebrations on July 22.
Contestants will race from Handy Stores down to Ashmores around the concrete sheep and back. There will be four stops where every competitor has to drink a pint. All money raised will go to the Fire Services National Benevolent Fund. For more information and an entry form, contact Peter Mackay on 07811 231485
