A 17-year-old youth from Abingdon is facing custody after pleading guilty to two charges of arson.
The youth, who is too young to be named, admitted the offences at Oxford Crown Court when he appeared on Friday.
He pleaded guilty to an arson attack on a Vauxhall Astra worth £5,500 on May 1 this year and an attack on a Ford Sierra, of unknown value, on the same date.
The youth was granted conditional bail but was told that custody was likely.
His co-accused, who also cannot be named, denied both offences and will stand trial at a later date.
