Customers at a village pub switched from exercising their right arms to stretching their leg muscles for a good cause.

A team of 23 from the Bear and Ragged Staff in Cumnor took part in a 20-mile sponsored bike ride in aid of SSNAP, the charity which supports the special care baby unit at the John Radcliffe Hospital, Oxford. Regulars and staff who made up the team are pictured with Chris Highsmith from SSNAP, to raise £2,300.

Manager Gavin Mansfield said: "The children of some of our regulars have benefited from the special care nursery, so it was a charity close to our hearts.
