Poet Alison Brumfitt has been shortlisted in a search to find the country's most inspirational young people.
Alison BrumfittAlison, 27, beat hundreds of entrants to the shortlist for the annual Tomorrow's People competition after she submitted a collection of press cuttings and reviews of her work.
Alison, of Norries Drive, Wallingford, has already won two poetry competitions. The winners will be announced before an awards ceremony in London on August 31.
