A flower festival was held at St Laurence Church at South Hinksey, near Oxford, to celebrate the feast of St Laurence.

Flower displays were set up around the church for the event on Saturday and Sunday and children were invited to bring flower posies from their gardens.
After Evensong on Sunday there was a sale of flowers and a raffle was also held to raise money for the St Laurence Church Fabric Fund to maintain the church buildings.
