Crews of novice rowers will take to the Thames as Wallingford Rowing Club's social calendar hots up.
The first event, a 12-week beginners' course, starts on August 19 - just in time to take part in the Wallingford Pub Regatta on September 8.
About 80 amateur crews are expected to enter and tackle the 300-metre course.
Youngsters aged 11 and above will be ploughing the water during the club's Junior Rowing Weekend, September 22 and 23.
Former Great Britain sculler and Wallingford Rowing Club member Carloyn Jones said : "We're starting events earlier this year to make the most of the summer weather."
