The OBA Officers and Longford cup finals both produced thrilling finishes.
The Officers Cup was nip and tuck between David McClymont and Peter Maisey, which was level after 20 ends. It needed a last-wood victory from McClymont when he moved the jack to give himself the four shots needed for victory.
The Longford Cup saw a marathon between Harry Williams and Brian Slatter in 31 ends of high quality play.
At 17 ends it was ten all and with a three on the 28th end, Williams levelled the game once more at 18 each.
Slatter picked up one on the next three ends to win 21-18.
