Sybil Williams Former Minster Lovell parish and district councillor Sybil Williams has died, aged 81.
Mrs Williams, who spent her life in the village, was a parish councillor for more than 45 years.
A member of the WI for more than 60 years, Mrs Williams was a founder of the village's youth club, and a governor of Burford School and St Kenelm's Primary School, in Minster Lovell.
She is survived by her three sons, Christopher, Tim and Tony, who run Williams Engineering, which was set up by their father Bill Williams.
The funeral service took place on Tuesday in St Kenelm's Church, Minster Lovell.
