Planning permission has been given for the Cholsey and Wallingford Railway Preservation Society to use part of the former Maltings in St John's Road, Wallingford, for railway purposes.
The society already has a depot there but the extra land will mean a new Wallingford station can be built, the society's ambition since it was formed 21 years ago.
