A helicopter crew from RAF Benson took part in a mountain rescue on Ben Nevis on February 8.
The three-man crew, on a training exercise, took the rescue team up the mountain to rescue a climber with a broken leg.
Sq Ldr Dale said: "As an ex-search and rescue pilot myself I was delighted to be able to help the mountain rescue team."
