Celebrities packed a 16th century Oxfordshire inn to celebrate the launch of a new business venture.
Phillip Schofield and Amanda Root were among the famous faces who attended the official opening of the Bear Inn in High Street, North Moreton, near Wallingford, on Friday.
Paul Adams and his wife, Sallie, who works as a film make-up artist and hair designer, bought the inn five weeks ago.
Mrs Adams will be running the business alongside her husband, but plans to continue her career in film make-up.
She has recently been involved in the latest production of The Forsyte Saga, which stars Amanda Root. The TV show is due to be shown on ITV over Easter.
She is also about to start work on the next Harry Potter film.
Mrs Adams said: "My husband has had several restaurants and pubs, but nothing as beautiful as The Bear. We are both originally from Henley and know the area quite well."
The couple plan to run The Bear as a traditional inn, with an attached fresh fish restaurant.
