More than 150 racers braved the elements at Standlake Arena's opening meeting of the season.
Constant heavy rain washed the track and made the racing very quick.
The Toyota Starlets of Roger Townsend and Trevor Harvey were head and shoulders above the rest of the Hot Rod-class, they both won a heat and took first and second places in the final.
A big turn-out of 50-Under-1800cc bangers saw the local 'Devils' pair, Simon Hadland and Paul Tritton take first and second place in their final.

Hot Rod: 1 R Townsend (Witney), 2 T Harvey (Ducklington), 3 A Gale (Banbury).
Prod Rods: 1 J Ashton (Herts), 2 J Fears (Bicester), 3 K Moores (Newbury).
Saloon Rods: 1 D Tustian (Warwickshire), 2 A Tuck (Chippenham), 3 P Bennett (Aylesbury).
Under 1800cc Banger: 1 S Hadland (Stonesfield), 2 P Tritton (Stonesfield), 3 A Cartwright (Black Bourton)
Over 1800cc Banger: 1 M Dalton (Bristol), 2 M Dorrill (Bucks), 3 M Webber (Hants).
Demolition Derby: S Russell (Cirencester).
