A man attempted to rob a 15-year-old girl as she walked with two friends.
It happened on the corner of Hurst Street and Cowley Road, Oxford, at about 5.30pm on Saturday.
The white man, aged in his 30s, tried to snatch her bag and then ran off.
He was of large build, and wore a red woolly hat and red and blue check shirt.
The victim was left uninjured but shaken.
