Wallingford should have a statue or memorial to one of its most famous sons, Sir William Blackstone, according to a local councillor.
District and town councillor Denis Strange said: "Mr Justice Blackstone was an eminent character and we have no memorial to him other than Blackstone Road.
"I would like the town council to think of a suitable and prominent memorial to this great man."
Sir William lived in Wallingford in the 18th century and is buried in St Peter's Church. He is famous for his Commentaries on the Laws of England, and Blackstone. His work strongly influenced the structure of the American Constitution.
