The minor injuries unit at Chipping Norton Hospital will be closed for six weeks while it undergoes a £30,000 facelift.
Patient facilities will be upgraded during the refurbishment work, which starts on Monday.
People who need medical treatment for minor injuries are being advised to go to the minor injuries unit at Witney Community Hospital, or the accident and emergency department at The Horton, Banbury. Advice is also available from NHS Direct on 0845 4647.
