Studley Wood enhanced their reputation as a family club when the husband-and-wife team of Mike and Sandra Siggers drove into office as the new men's and ladies' captains.
About 50 members braved driving rain to attend the ceremony which saw both Mike and Sandra tee off wearing fancy dress.
The Siggers, who live in Bicester, are a well-known family at Studley Wood. Both Mike, who plays off four, and 15-handicapper Sandra were founder members, while their sons Austin and Robert are single-figure golfers at the club.
Mike runs a body repair shop in Weston-on-the-Green, and among his customers has been Tim Henman's, father Tony.
Their chosen charity for the year is the Oxford Air Ambulance.
