Activities for young people will be a focus of this year's Towersey folk music and dance festival.
The event, which attracts 10,000 people to the village near Thame over the August Bank Holiday weekend, will also feature Scottish music.
Activities at the children's festival, which has developed over the past decade, will include lantern making, a puppet theatre, comedians and games.
For the first time this year, there will be a series of workshops and performances, Shooting Roots, designed for young people aged between 12 and 25.
Shooting Roots is part of the festival's commitment to developing music, song, drama and dance for young people.
The international line-up for the 38th folk music and dance festival will be led by top folk fiddler Aly Bain, accordionist Phil Cunningham, Blazing Fiddles, and The Cast. Other performers are coming from the USA, Hawaii and France.
