A kitten in need of a home after being dumped in an allotment has been rejected by would-be owners - because he is 'wobbly'.

Marie-Clare Joseph and Sinatra the kitten The five-week-old pet was rescued by staff at West Oxford Animal Rescue Centre.

So far everyone who has shown an interest in housing Sinatra, named because of his blue eyes, has quickly rejected the kitten because he has co-ordination problems.

'Foster-mother' Marie-Clare Joseph said: "He's a little wobbly and his head tilts a bit sometimes, but otherwise he is a normal kitten.

"He needs to be a house-bound pet because he probably could not protect himself against other animals on the streets."

She is appealing for anyone interested in taking on Sinatra, who has pure black fur and white paws, to come forward. Call 01865 779298 for details.
