Bicester & North Oxford slumped to the bottom of Division 1 after Saturday's ten-wicket defeat at home to Reading.
Short of key batsmen through late cry-offs, a patched-up Bicester side were never able to come to terms with the accurate Reading bowling.
Only skipper Darryl Woods offered any real resistance with 46 as the home side were shot out for a meagre 107 in 58 overs. The only other Bicester batsman to reach double figures was Stuart Kennedy with 17.
Edwards was the pick of the Reading bowlers with 4-37 from 18 overs.
The Reading openers then proceeded to carve up the Bicester bowling, reaching their target in only the 20th over.
They were aided by some wayward bowling and a string of dropped catches by the home side.
It leaves Bicester still looking for their first win of the season, with the spectre of relegation already looming large.
