Division 2 West
Leaders Oxford strengthend their grip at the top of the table by seeing off newcomers Farnham Royal by four wickets at Rectory Field on Saturday.
After the start was delayed by 15 minutes because the home side did not have an approved league match ball, Farnham won the toss and elected to bat.
And they were soon regretting their decision as wickets fell at regular intervals to Graham Charlesworth, Rupert Evans and Adam Cook.
Charlesworth, the Oxford University coach, led the way with immaculate figures of 4-22 off 17 overs, while Evans and Cook finished with three apeice.
Farnham were dismissed for a paltry 82 in the 51st over.
Despite the modest target, Oxford also found scoring runs difficult.
Keith Mustow, Shahbaz Ali and Pat Jobson were all sent back for single figures as they slumped to 54-6.
However, Cook and Ian Crosby then came to the rescue to steer the side home without further alarm.
