A new £1.6m fire station has been officially opened at RAF Brize Norton.
Gp Capt Neil Jagger and managing director of the contractors Mansells, Jon Taylor, open the centre
It houses five vehicles and includes offices, training areas and a gym.
The design should improve response times in emergencies, as a new road leads directly to the runway.
Station fire officer Flt Sgt Dave Sedgbeer said: "The crews like the new facility because it has plenty of space, good recreational facilities and it gives good visibility and access to the airfield."
