International stars of the future were on show at The Kassam Stadium on Monday as England, Italy, Brazil and the Czech Republic played out two draws in the Nationwide Under 17 Tournament.

England's Luke Moore scores against ItalyBrazil turned on the style in the first half of the opening match against the Czech Republic, but failed to show the sparkle in front of goal displayed by the senior side who two weeks ago lifted the World Cup.

All but three of that team came through the ranks on their way to the top, and there were a number of faces on show who all looked destined for bigger things.

Evandro - who scored the opening goal from a retaken penalty - ran the game in central midfield before moving to right back where his dominance continued.

Up front, Roncatto and Rafael looked lively, but will have to improve their finishing if they are to join the list of striking legends.

The Czech Republic offered nothing in the first half, but produced a much-improved display after the break and were well worth their late equaliser when Vlastimil Fiala netted from close range.

But the star of the night featured in the second match between England and Italy.

Luke Moore scored 13 goals in five games for Aston Villa U17s last season, and he enhanced his reputation with two superb goals - one in each half - both laid on by Grant Leadbitter.

But just like their national side, England failed to hold on to their advantage despite twice being in front as goals from Piermarino Morosini and a strike from Alessandro Simonetta three minutes from time left honours even at 2-2.

More than 5,000 spectators watched the two matches, with a bigger crowd expected on Sunday when England take on Brazil after Italy have played the Czech Republic.
