Lucy Sutton produced another cracking discus throw as Oxford City's juniors finished runners-up in their final Southern Electric Wessex League fixture.
Her winning throw of 36.19m in the under 17 event brought her the female field athlete of the match award.
Three age group victories - for the under 13 girls, under 17 women and under 17 men - laid the foundations for City's second place.
In fact, only a shortage of athletes in a couple of the age categories denied City victory.
However, having already qualified for next month's cup final, a number of athletes took the opportunity to take part in events they would not normally tackle.
In the under 15 boys' events, Mark Rumble again showed his all-round talents, winning both the javelin and discus, and finishing second in the high jump.
