A man has been charged after another person was hit on the head with an axe.
The accused, who is 32 and from Oxford, is due to appear before Didcot Magistrates' Court on July 11 charged with causing grievous bodily harm and possessing an offensive weapon.
He was arrested after police called to a house in Netherton Road, Appleton, near Oxford, in the early hours of Sunday found a man outside with head injuries. He was taken to the John Radcliffe Hospital, Oxford, for treatment.
Police have appealed for witnesses to a brawl outside The Litten Tree pub in Sheep Street, Bicester, to come forward. Three men were arrested after the fight last Thursday at about 11pm.
