Schoolchildren have been creating sculptures out of debris found on the woodland floor at Harcourt Arboretum.
Ellis Rooney, from St Joseph's School, in Old Marston, explores a sculpture
They have been working with artist David Gosling in Treescape, an educational project organised by the Oxford Botanic Garden, which owns the 55-acre wooded site, near Nuneham Courtenay.
Mr Gosling showed them how to create sculptures that would blend into the woodland setting, without damaging the surroundings.
Each session began with a walk through the woods, with children searching for fallen twigs, pine cones or dried leaves that could be woven into exciting shapes.
