Kirtlington golf club had to close its kitchen after a chip pan caught fire.
No-one was hurt in the incident at Vicarage Farm, Kirtlington, near Bicester, on Saturday morning (12 October), but the kitchen has been closed until repairs can be made.
Pam Smith, manager and director, said: "It was very small scale, not as bad as it could have been."
She said no bookings had been cancelled.
