The chief executive of mobile phone company Vodafone is in Oxford tomorrow (October 15) to tell business students how he plans to put his business back on the path to recovery.

Earlier this year, Vodafone announced a £13bn loss -- the worst in British corporate history -- and Sir Christopher Gent faced difficult questions, not least about the size of his bonus. But the firm remains the largest mobile phone operation in the world with a market value of £61bn.

Sir Christopher's lecture will be held at 6pm in the Lloyd Boardroom at the Gipsy Lane campus of Oxford Brookes University, which gave him an honorary degree last year. It is free and open to all.
