A supermarket manager was robbed of cash by masked robbers as he opened up to take in the morning papers.
The man was confronted by two men, carrying a shotgun and a handgun, outside the Alldays store in Middleton Road, Banbury, shortly after 5am yesterday.
The pair, who were both white and wearing balaclavas, locked him in the kitchen while they stole a large amount of money from the till.
They then escaped in a white T-registered Ford Transit van along Middleton Road towards the town centre.
One of the men is described as being 6ft tall and heavily built, wearing blue jeans, trainers and a combat jacket.
His accomplice was slimmer, around 5ft 8in tall, wearing trainers and a SlipKnot top.
Anyone who saw the van is asked to contact Banbury CID on 01295 754577, or phone Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
